How to receive your move

When your move is complete, our team leader will invite you to take a full tour of your home to ensure that all the agreed services have been carried out to your complete satisfaction. These last formalities of your move are essential to preserve your rights.

formalities-commitmentIt invites you to take note of the end of the moving contract. If you notice any damage, shortcomings or anomalies of any kind, you must indicate them very precisely on the end-of-work declaration which will be presented to you at the end of the move and the inspection: these are the delivery reserves.

In the absence of any specific mention on your part, the contract is deemed to have been performed in accordance with our contractual commitments, and the absence of precise and detailed reservations on delivery implies a presumption of compliant delivery.

The end-of-work declaration is one of the copies of the "consignment note" instituted by the decree of November 9, 1999. It must be signed by the recipient of the furniture before the removal team leaves. You have complete freedom to specify your comments. This procedure provides proof that the alleged facts existed at the time of delivery. This document is contradictory, and our team leader can make any observations.

Once delivery has been completed, if you wish to make any reservations not specified on the end-of-work declaration drawn up in the presence of the team leader, you must notify the company of all your grievances within ten calendar days of the end of your move, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. This important formality is stipulated in Art.16 of our general terms and conditions of sale. Failure to do so will deprive you of the right to take action against the company.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is up to you to provide proof that the grievances cited in your registered letter to the company and not specified in your reservations on delivery are the company's fault.

These removal formalities are essential to safeguard your rights, but of course you can also express your satisfaction on the end-of-work declaration. Your comments are systematically taken into account in the company's "quality" approach. To this end, you will be given a quality survey to find out how you rate the service as a whole.
