Good planning at the point of departure of your international move is essential and is generally done in two stages:
An international move cannot be improvised. The quality of the packing material should not be taken lightly. It's the packing that will determine the quality of your move.
Furniture packaging :
For packing clothes and other belongings:
Some products are prohibited or require very specific packaging for transport. Your mover is fully aware of the constraints associated with transport.
During an international move, the packaging is lost, i.e. it is not recovered by the moving company. Instead, your mover on arrival takes care of destruction, in accordance with environmental standards.
When packing, the mover will draw up a packing list detailing the contents of each box. Boxes are systematically numbered and labeled. This is the document that formalizes the contract of carriage between you and your removal company. You must sign it on departure and arrival.
Such a list is essential, as it will enable you to check that all your boxes have arrived at their destination. It will also make it easier for you to settle into your new home.
